Mark Warner began his guitar-playing career at age 13. He moved to London when he was 18 and started doing studio work soon after his arrival. He played on records by artists such as Cat Stevens, Kevin Ayers, Brian Ferry, Murray Head, Olivia Newton-John, Kenny Young, Yvonne Elliman, Allan Clarke, Teresa Brewer, Ellie Greenwich, Mike Stoller, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Scott English, Steve Swindells and many others. He also played on numerous TV commercials.
Mark played the much lauded, cult favorite guitar solo on “No American Starship” while with the band Quantum Jump. Their platinum selling single, “The Lone Ranger” reached #3 in the UK selling over 500,000 copies which led to a performance on the long running BBC "Top OF The Pops" TV show. The band recorded two albums that have recently been re-released on CD by UK based Cherry Red Records .
After leaving QJ and joining Cat Stevens on the "Majikat Tour", Mark moved to Los Angeles. He then toured with Neil Sedaka for several years before being hired to compose the music for a “7-Up” national sales meeting. This was the catalyst for his composing career. Since then, he has written music for numerous corporate shows, television series and theme park attractions.
